At the Ethiopian Pavilion during the Africa Climate Summit (ACS2), we presented Nedamco Africa’s AI-powered National Sustainability Command Center, an integrated platform designed to turn climate challenges into measurable action. By combining satellite data and local data in the Digital Twin, it delivers real-time AI-enabled insights on carbon, land use, climate impacts, agriculture, and smallholder farmers.

From the Green Legacy Initiative’s 40+ billion trees to Digital Twin intelligence, the platform enables transparent monitoring and reporting that support EUDR compliance, open access to export markets, and new opportunities for climate finance. It strengthens data-driven decision-making across sectors, ensuring climate resilience and carbon-positive agriculture.

Because climate and food security go hand in hand, we’re also working with partners like CGIAR to connect climate resilience with agriculture. And this technology is being built in partnership with Microsoft, with local talent supported by MMCY, ensuring that Ethiopia’s own capacity is at the core of climate technology.
